So I shot my new SIG .40 today and wow… even though I give myself a couple range trips to get used to a new gun, this one shot great. It feels so natural in your hand and points so well that you cant help but shoot it well. The added weight takes away any snap the .40 round has and it basically feels like a 9mm. Sight picture is great and easy to acquire quickly. The p226 is every bit as accurate as the USP .40 I traded for it and has far less muzzle flip due to the added weight. All around a joy to shoot.
The trigger is much better than the USP, but I am giving myself a 300 round window to get used to it. Very crisp break and smooth pull.
I would recommend a SIG pistol to any of you.
